Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 in 1983. She is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Originally from Worthington Ohio she quit high school and moved into Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. Though she struggled financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's principal character. The actress also appeared in Alice as Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is an updated interpretation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. In 2013, she appeared in Season 6 of Californication. She plays Faith, who is the muse and fan of the stars. She's a Gyllenhaal. daughter of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), as well as younger than Jake Gyllenhaal.
