MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his first full-length album. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. The first choice for his career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he realized his talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
